Amazing and stimulating lectures.

Although we live in an age of rationality, research in neuroscience and management shows that our thinking is the result not only of our reasoning, but also of our intuition. Whether we are making a decision, interacting with others, being creative or even distinguishing between right and wrong, our thinking navigates between our rational process and our intuitions.

But what happens if we become aware of our intuitions and take advantage of them in amalgamation with reason?

This question is at the heart of my master’s in management thesis , completed in January 2017. To this end, I explored the most recent scientific advances on the subject. I also interviewed  leaders from different backgrounds and industries – the former Quebec premier, media stars, entrepreneurs, executives within large organizations, such as Air Canada, KPMG, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Hydro-Québec – the list goes on. The results of my research, combined with nearly thirty years of experience – first as an actuary, then as an executive and, finally, as a management coach – have allowed me to develop an original and pragmatic perspective on human thought.

I propose to explore together the theme of intuition in business, revised and improved by science and experience.
